Using Guest Authors in Your Marketing Emails
If you have been creating and sending marketing emails for a while, you may sometimes feel like you have covered every conceivable facet of your niche. You may even find yourself checking old emails to make sure that you are not duplicating email content.
If this has happened to you, you may want to look at the possibility of bringing in a guest speaker now and then to write your marketing emails. Guest authors can help provide fresh perspectives, and can keep your readers interested when you find yourself in a marketing rut.
Finding guest authors is not difficult. Just browse internet marketing discussion boards and find other marketers that sell similar (though not identical) types of products.
You could offer your guest author a fee for providing your email content, or offer a share of the sales from the email or emails your guest author writes.
Make sure that your guest author knows that he or she can broadcast the email to his or her own subscribers, too. Since both of your names will be in the email content, you will gain some of that author's subscribers as your own.
By using guest authors, everyone wins. Your guest author gets the opportunity to get in front of a new audience, and you will gain some of the readership of that author's subscribers. Best of all, you'll get a much needed break from the toil of internet marketing, which could be just the thing you need to get your marketing back on track.
